Founded by Chris Hudson in Coulsdon, Surrey, Hudson Lighting Ltd is a specialist manufacturer of high-performance outdoor lighting, trusted by landscape designers, architects, electricians, and smart-home professionals. Every product is crafted in-house with full control over CNC turning, anodising, powder coating, electronics, and final assembly—ensuring total quality and process transparency. Hudson’s product range includes compact spike lights, architectural wall spotlights, recessed halo fittings, and robust bollards—each engineered for durability, subtlety, and performance in outdoor environments. At the heart of Hudson’s approach is a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and dark-sky protection. Products are designed to minimise glare and upward spill, using warm 2700K LEDs and shielded optics to reduce light pollution and protect nocturnal ecosystems. In addition to its products, Hudson Lighting offers professional lighting design services, including 2D plans and 3D visualisations. With a transparent ethos, sustainable practices, and precision-built fittings, Hudson Lighting continues to set the standard in quality, innovation, and responsible landscape lighting.

This strategic move aims to better serve the Irish market by offering high-quality garden lighting solutions tailored for trade professionals, including landscape designers and electrical contractors. The company is actively building a local team and plans to open a manufacturing facility in Cork by 2028, introducing a uniquely Irish-made product line. Landform Consultants - Rose Hill
Hudson Lighting Ltd collaborated with Landform Consultants, led by award-winning designer Mark Gregory, to enhance a luxury garden at Rose Hill. Their precision-engineered Maxi and Midi Spike Spot luminaires blended seamlessly into the landscape by day and offered striking, dark-sky-friendly illumination by night. All components are replaceable, ensuring long-term durability. A key focus was minimising light pollution, preserving both the garden’s aesthetic and the natural night environment. The successful completion of the Rose Hill project highlighted Hudson Lighting’s commitment to quality, innovation, and environmental responsibility in outdoor lighting design.
