A Tall Victorian Glasshouse in a Garden Designed by Jane McCorkell
Having used Alitex in the past, Jane McCorkell, MGLDA, knew that we could provide the best glasshouse for her clients, who had just begun their garden design project. They wanted a structure that would allow them to experiment with growing whilst also being a space for sitting and enjoying their dinner throughout the year. The glasshouse is fixed at the gable end to keep all the built elements aligned and in keeping with the arrangement of the historic farm buildings. The design is taller than usual to imitate the pitch of the garage, which also gives it this amazing grand presence without being obtrusive.
