This garden needed to be completely redesigned in the context of a house renovation. The garden had a steep narrow staircase that led up to a traditional walled lawn area. The new design was a terraced garden with three distinct areas: a lower paved area with a water feature close to the house, a second seating area with built-in seating to catch the daytime sun and an upper area centred around a large Olive tree.

Green Road

This garden was a long narrow garden dominated by a lawn and a shed at the end of the garden. The new design incorporates a large paved area to accommodate family dining, a new lawn area with colourful perennial planting and a pergola to divide off the utility area and vegetable patch at the end of the garden.

Marlborough

This mature garden had a lovely backbone of established trees but the design had become tired and outdated. It needed a renovation to suit a young family that tied in with the contemporary renovation of the house. The garden was divided into three areas, a deck and two seating areas close to the house, a large lawn area and a play area at the back of the garden with raised beds to grow vegetables.

Sarah did a magnificent job on our garden. I had very high expectations for this project and Sarah exceeded them. I simply could not be more pleased with my new garden and am looking forward to seeing how it develops in the Spring.I have no hesitation in recommending her.

We hired Sarah to work on our garden as we were doing a house extensive that had the back of the house all open, with large windows into the garden. We are so happy with the garden and people who come to the house have said that this is one of the best parts of our extension. I love the colours used which complement our kitchen colours. The planting was also advised by Sarah. We wanted colour plus easy maintenance, which we got. It was a pleasure dealing with Sarah.
