Biography

Frazer McDonogh has a diverse and interesting background in Garden Design, landscaping and horticulture.
He first studied at Gurteen Agricultural college in Tipperary followed by the National Botanical Gardens in Dublin.
As a student he gained practical experience working in Powerscourt Estate and Gardens in Co Wicklow.
After living and working in the Hawaiian Islands for a number of years where he focused on designing and building water features, sub-tropical and Japanese gardens, he returned to Ireland in 1998 and established a successful garden design and landscaping business.
Today Frazer works throughout Ireland and the UK designing gardens and landscapes. He provides a landscaping and garden build service in the Leinster area.
He believes gardens regardless of size are vital in modern living, their spaces for relaxation, unwinding, entertainment, connecting with nature and maintaining biodiversity. Our own green space is our own sanctuary.
He works on all size of gardens large and small in the country, suburban and city settings, he incorporates a wide range of themes and planting styles. Water plays a significant role in his designs, they provide sound, movement and reflection within the garden and are a magnet for wildlife.
Frazer’s holistic approach to garden design and his emphasis on the importance of green spaces align with the contemporary understanding of gardens as essential components of well – being and environmental sustainability.
