Soil management/health and looking after the future using a holistic approach by incorporating SUDS
- Date: Thursday 15th November
- Time: 9.30am – 1pm finishing with a light lunch
- Where: Meet at Enrich Environmental, Kilcock, Co. Meath for a short tour of the facility.
This will be followed by talks and discussions with the following professionals:
Kevin McCabe (Enrich) – Soil health in a site environment and the use of soil in SUDS; it all starts with the specification.
Alwyn White (Greenleaf Ireland) – discusses tree planting in hard surface environments and how to sustain growth in urban areas/front gardens as part of SUDS.
Ronan Nangle (Nangle & Niesen) with the use of case studies will discuss tree selection and planting and the importance of soil selection/biosecurity/management/maintenance to a successful long term tree planting scheme.
